Lovely Lips !

I have to admit I LOVE this years trend of colorful lipsticks ! It's a great change of attention from the eyes to the lips. Don't get me wrong, a dramatic eye can be great ANY day but sometimes we want something a little more simple but still want color. Whether you want to do a classic red or a deep dark purple, lipstick can add a nice dramatic pop to your everyday look. Anyone who knows me knows I love dramatic eye makeup but on days I feel a little more simple but want a little something extra, this is my go to style.

If you are just starting out and don't know which colors to get here's some colors to try :

- the classic matte red

 essentially you can't go wrong ! Its dramatic but it looks great on everyone. Go to color especially for a more sophisticated event or night out.

- pretty in pink

bright pinks are definitely in right now and they look amazing but if you're scared of the intensity of the color start with something with more of a muted color. I also love really light pinks as well. The shade of pink you want to pick will vary on your skin color and you can always use your hand for a swatch !

- passionate purple

I have come to LOVE a dark purple lipstick especially for the fall. Its more dramatic but I think its rich and plays off well for a nice classy sophisticated look,. This for me is my number one favorite color to wear on the lips.

- naked lady

nude lips are completely in ! There's something about a nude lip that I cannot resist. I will admit it can be a bit more difficult to find the right color especially when buying online but just remember go for a color CLOSE to your skin color not the color you WANT them to be (you know a little more pink or a little deeper in color ). The objective of a nude lip is for a natural look so make sure it looks natural !
